Without access to capital, nothing happens. A story of hope.

About 3 hours outside of Lusaka, Zambia is this gorgeous sustainable produce farm. The local people are paid by WWF to produce and sell their products to local businesses and lodges.

It is expected that in 2 to 3 years the output will be sufficient, and customer buyer base expanded to allow it to fly untethered and be profitable on its own. Without funding to jumpstart the process, …nothing happens.

Business begets business. Success begets success.

Notice anything unusual about the pictures?

Yup.  Same story everywhere we’ve gone. Almost entirely women.

Latitude Hotels. Sustainable growth.

Want to know what sustainable development looks like? It looks like this. 250 people employed at our Latitude Hospitality properties, going to 600. EACH has on average…(this is not a misprint) 22 dependants! Currently, 5500 people, rising to over 13,000 people with jobs, training, self-esteem, and a chance. People just like you and me, families busting their butts for signs of hope, depend on these jobs. That’s the multiplier effect of business in the real world.
